Welcome to my reading blog!

Je m’appelle Naïma, et depuis que je sais lire, je dévore tout ce qui me tombe sous la main. J’ai un baccalauréat en littérature et linguistique, et je fais actuellement une maîtrise en linguistique computationnelle. J’ai commencé ce blogue en 2016 pour partager mon amour de la lecture, et aussi pour garder une trace des livres que je lis. Il y en a beaucoup!

I write my reviews with my readers in mind first. I want them to be fun to read, whether you want to read the book or not. I don't get lost in in-depth literary analyses, and in general my publications are rather short. Also, I do not usually dwell on the summaries of books: in my opinion, they have little to do with the pleasure I have in reading them. If I loved the book and I really want you to read it, I'll make sure not to spoil anything: be careful though, if I didn't like it, I won't hesitate to reveal everything!

I also happen to be rough with certain books, because I often have very strong opinions and I like to let off steam here. But don't take me too seriously! I know that reading is a highly subjective act, and I am certainly not a perfect reader (I often lack attention, and I sometimes have prejudices). If you do not agree with me, do not hesitate to tell me, it will be my pleasure to discuss with you!
